Data Policy

  • By purchasing from our website or other sales route you agree to these policies.

  • Personal data collected by our web shop includes names, addresses and contact details for all buyers. In addition we will save details of purchased items and dates.

  • No other users of our website – e.g. casual browsers will be asked for these details and none of these details will be obtained by our website other than by the buyer inputting directly to the purchasing pages, feedback reviews or occasional competitions..

  • Customers purchasing by email, phone or any other communication, verbal or written, will be asked to provide the same basic information.

  • This data is required for ensuring that payment transactions are complete and that deliveries can be made to the correct address. Phone and email information may be required/used if there is a delivery problem. When returns are requested then we will ask for the purchase paperwork and check the transaction on our database. For these reasons we will hold electronic data for up 1 year from the transaction date.

  • Electronic payment details – credit card/debit card/bank etc. - will be processed by our payment processing partner sites and are not seen or held by Red Cliff Learning Ltd.

  • Where consent has been given we will use contact details provided by site users in order to keep them up to date with offers and new products on an occasional basis and to ask for feedback on our services. 

  • By purchasing from this website you are consenting to our use of this data to contact you regarding your purchase, including but not limited to follow up feedback requests. Such contact will not be made later than 90 days from the purchase date.

  • Data is held on our customer database on the Wix website server, Zoho email server and in our accounting systems.on secure machines. Historical data may be printed and kept on record in locked containment at our secure premises.

  • We do not pass any of these details to any third party companies.

Upon request, we will happily tell you what data we are holding about you and will edit or delete according to your instructions..

Returns

Faulty Goods-

  • We are sure that you will be pleased with your new syllabus books or revision cards - however mistakes can happen and we will endeavour to put right any problems that you have.

  • If you have a faulty product then please contact us within 28 days via our support email: support@redclifflearning.com  and we will discuss the problem with an aim of refunding your purchase or replacing with a new item.

Other Returns 

  • Items may be returned for any other reason within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us via our support email: support@redclifflearning.com

  • We will need the purchase details and loose cards should be in their original card cover. We aim to give full refunds for items that have not been written in or had pages/cards removed or otherwise defaced.

Purchased Elsewhere

  • Since it is possible for our cards and books to be bought on the secondhand market or from other reseller we do need to verify your purchase - either by you supplying the documentation or by checking with our database. If you purchased elsewhere, please make your initial return request via them.

Standard Terms & Conditions 
1. DEFINITIONS

In this document the following words shall have the following meanings:
-."Buyer" means the organisation or person who buys Goods 
-."Goods" means the articles to be supplied to the Buyer by the Seller; 
-."Intellectual Property Rights" means all patents, registered and unregistered designs, copyright, trade marks, know-how and all other forms of intellectual property wherever in the world enforceable; 
-."Seller" means Red Cliff Learning Ltd, Unit 2 Acremore, Acreman Street, Little Hadham, England. SG11 2HD 
 

2. GENERAL
-These Terms and Conditions shall apply to sales of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions referred to, offered or relied on by the Buyer whether in negotiation or at any stage in the dealings between the parties except where prior agreement (for special terms and conditions) is reached.  
-Any variation to these Terms and Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by the Seller. 
 

3. PRICE & PAYMENT
-The price shall be as indicated by the Seller on the Seller's website, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.  
-Payment will be required before release of goods by the Seller. 
-If payment of the price or any part thereof is not not made or is stopped, the Seller shall be entitled to: 
     1.charge interest on overdue invoices from the date when payment becomes due from day to day until the date of payment at a rate of 2 per cent per annum above the base rate of the NatWest Bank 
     2.refuse to make delivery of any undelivered Goods without incurring any liability whatever to the Buyer for non-delivery or any delay in delivery
 

4. DESCRIPTION
For the avoidance of doubt, the Buyer hereby affirms that it does not in any way rely on any description of goods made by the Seller or displayed on the Seller's website when entering into the contract.
 

5. DELIVERY
-Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery of the Goods shall take place at the address specified by the Buyer.
-Any damages, shortages, over deliveries and duplicated orders should be reported to the Seller within 14 days of receipt to enable replacement or refund.
 

6. RETURN OF GOODS
-All goods are sold on a firm sale basis however we will accept returns requested within 14 days and return of faulty goods within 28 days provided that proof of purchase is produced. 
-Any returns must be authorised by a representative of the Red Cliff Learning Ltd before any credit will be given. 
-Where Red Cliff Learning agrees to accept the return of goods that are not damaged the Buyer will be responsible for the cost of carriage and will ensure that they are carefully packaged. 
-Credit of amounts due or paid in will only be given for goods that are in saleable condition. 
 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
-The Seller shall not be liable for any all loss or damage suffered by the Buyer in excess of the contract price. 
-Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to limit or exclude the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury as a result of the Seller's negligence or that of its employees or agents. 
 

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All Goods are in copyright. All rights reserved. Subject to statutory exception, no part may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise without prior written permission of the Seller. The Buyer shall do all that is reasonably necessary to ensure that  Intellectual Property Rights (copyright and other) vest in the Seller.
 

9. FORCE MAJEURE
The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. If the delay persists for such time as the Seller considers unreasonable, it may, without liability on its part, terminate the contract.
 

10. WAIVER
The failure by either party to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the Terms and Conditions herein shall not be a waiver of them or of the right at any time subsequently to enforce all Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.
 

11. SEVERABILITY
If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.
 

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
